Noel and Liam are proper Blues who followed City home and away everywhere growing up. They have been great for City commercially helping to attract new fans and sell shirts. You don’t have to like their music. As someone else said:”Our friends hate us when we become famous.”

I lived in Scotland at the height of the Oasis boom when they were huge up there. One year the City shirt was the biggest selling shirt apart from the Old Firm and our team was shite then. Thousands of Oasis fans started following City as their second team. I travelled to every match and the trains were packed with new fans. In fact we still have a huge support up there now. I also met a group of Oasis fans in Seattle USA who all followed City.
