Coffee

Coffee is as complex as wine. Assuming you’re drinking real coffee through something like a V60, maybe start with lighter roasts and go for something with a flavour profile you like. More fruity, lighter coffees tend to be much nicer without milk.

Having said that there’s nothing wrong with liking a bit of milk in your coffee. I do with darker, more caramel/chocolatey tasting coffees.

A starting point would be to head to your nearest speciality coffee shop and ask the barista for advice and guidance. If they’re any good they’d buzz off helping you out and having a c

Currently drinking an Ethiopian coffee

Beshasha G2

It's peach, lemon tea, creamy.... apparently.

I has a cheap Delonghi espresso coffee machine for years, which was great ( replaced it when it died with a Krupps, which was crap, sent it back & got another Delonghi, lesson learned!) I used to buy a kilo of beans, & grind daily, when I worked in the office I used an Aeropress portable espresso much cheaper than buying from a coffee van,
I only have 2 (3 max) cups a day, wife doesn’t drink coffee, but she likes the smell & aroma produced in the kitchen by the coffee machine, & I quite enjoy the process & ritual of making coffee in the morning.

Love coffee, one of life’s little pleasures. We have a Nespresso machine and loads of different pods for it, all kinds of flavours. I do think the novelty of exotics like maple pecan and caramel flavour wanes after a bit though, we prefer the normal South American and Ethiopian coffees. Vivida is nice for the Nespresso too.

If anyone can get them, fresh coffee beans from Taiwan are delicious ground and brewed in a cafetière.

Coffee; champagne of the Gods. Anyone that drinks tea clearly needs professional help.
Not good on the guts to be drinking strong black coffee (as i do) 1st thing of a morning.
Coffee is a 11's drink. No later than 3 certainly unless you are a hopeless insomniac and enjoy the misery.

Tea 1st thing. (Always).
Coffee upto late lunch/early afternoon.
Herbals in the evening.
