Coldplay - Glastonbury

You could say the same about Muse - you never hear of any of them burning the candle at both ends and they all seem like nice, inoffensive lads, yet they're still the greatest live act on the planet. You don't have to chuck TV's out of windows or shit in kettles to become part of a great band ;)

I don't like Muse either.

I just can't take anyone serious who thinks they're a bit 'rock n roll' but isn't working towards dying in their own vomit with a stripper stabbed to death in the bed and 2 call girls lapping each other thoroughly in the corner.

Coldplay is music for mums, it's nice to walk round ASDA to but I wouldn't ever want to take it seriously.

Just my opinion though, I don't expect people to like the stuff I do.

It's ok - if you want to confess to liking Scouting For Girls I'll promise not to laugh.

If I ever did, you'd be free to point, laugh and even kick the shit out of me!

As someone who normally wouldn't give Coldplay the time of day I have to say that I thought they were good last night. There've been a few headliners in recent years who have put in underwhelming, self indulgent performances but last night appeared communal and celebratory. They seemed like they really wanted to make it a memorable evening for the crowd and I think they achieved that.

Still not going to buy their records though!
