To be fair it is a bit gay watching Coldplay while wearing flashing wristbands. However, is it as gay as having your hair in a ponytail and getting blown out by some tart because you look like that cock Blair out of El Dorado?

Over to you Toma.....

Hahaha that's not gay....just really sad. And I didn't have a ponytail, just a big conk!

Really enjoyed it last night, a lot more than expected tbh. A lot of the tunes I find too syrupy were much better in a live singalong- although it should always be "live" in Coldplay's case considering how much of their sound isn't actually live. Amazed to see it kicking off near me on the pitch last night - Coldplay aggro shocker.

Regardless of the tunes it was the best stadium show Ive seen in terms of involving the audience. It'll be interesting to compare it to Springsteen - although he'll probably play twice long but I won't be expecting much of a show.
Rita Ora dire, but enjoyed Robyn.

Rita Ora might be dire but she wasn't on last night.

Just shows how musical tastes differ. I thought Robyn was dreadful and went and queued up for a beer instead.

Good show tonight but Springsteen will kick them into next week in comparison.

Springsteen v coldplay, is like city playing bury no comparison. springsteen will play for 3 hrs 30m with no poncy light show,,, or wrist bands so you find your cock when going for a piss.

If you like music to push the boundaries and challenge you, then it is not only 'cool' to hate Coldplay,it is morally the default setting.
To call them dull is offensive.
To the word dull.

PMSL! By that same logic, surely it's the default setting to hate Springsteen then? ;)

Point taken - but Springsteen reminds you of what rock and roll ever meant to you,and gives 101% onstage every time.
He writes great songs that have stood the test of time, and still move you, whereas Coldplay are anodyne but ultimately soulless corporate fodder for the masses.
And I don't know if anyone has pointed out this little known fact ,but they are followed predominately by gay scousers.

No doubting Springsteen's a class act - that's not up for discussion - but with regards to the pushing the boundaries comment, well this is 2012 not 1962 and as such pretty much every genre of music has long been invented so as time has moved on it's now very difficult to come up with something new and innovative. As such, pretty much everything these days is a variation on a theme so to say Coldplay don't push back the boundaries is something that can be levelled at pretty much every band. Tell you something though - whether you like them or not I can't think of many, if any, bands that sound too much like Coldplay so in that sense it could be argued that their music has a different feel to it.

As I hoped, taken in the right spirit!

Fantastic show last night as usual!

On a sidenote, the hospitality at our club is absolutely superb!
Brilliant night!
If you want lights, go to Blackpool.

And if you still like coldplay, don't come back.

Oi Mr knuckles down....shouldn't you be learning to use a calculator rather than picking on a fellow coldplayite?

No I'm good with a calculator, I just have no business sense.
