It's cool to have a 9" cock also, sometimes being cool just correlates with what's good.

Having a moustache automatically makes you 1000 times more manly than any Coldplay fan.

There def was a shortage of men there last night compared to normal. Don't think the Ladies at the Etihad has ever taken such a hammering; queuing for miles they were, as I strolled unmolested in to a next-to-empty Gents. Thinking on though, maybe Take That trumped it. Just thought I'd share that.
You were at take that?

There's no more gay left in the world. Somewhere in canal street, 50 guys have just turned back into hetros due to this.

Sorely tempted to answer yes to that one, but, er I don't think I'd even accept a free ticket to see that bunch

If you like music to push the boundaries and challenge you, then it is not only 'cool' to hate Coldplay,it is morally the default setting.
To call them dull is offensive.
To the word dull.

PMSL! By that same logic, surely it's the default setting to hate Springsteen then? ;)

Yep I'm in agreement.

Thing is, I don't always want to be pushed and challenged every time I listen to music or go to a gig. Sometimes enjoying myself is enough. Not sure what morality has got to do with it either. If you'd seen them on this tour you might still have thought the music dull, but you wouldn't have honestly said the concert was dull.

Point taken - but Springsteen reminds you of what rock and roll ever meant to you,and gives 101% onstage every time.
He writes great songs that have stood the test of time, and still move you, whereas Coldplay are anodyne but ultimately soulless corporate fodder for the masses.
And I don't know if anyone has pointed out this little known fact ,but they are followed predominately by gay scousers.
