Cole Palmer

Why act like a rag(even if he is)? The lad left to join another big club and get games. It wasn’t happening for him at City. He’s done brilliantly and is incredibly joint top scorer in the league with Haaland. It was a good move for him, fair play to him.

He was pure class today by the way.
Didn't ask, don't care.

The wanking over him by the media and pundits is ridiculous. It's on a par with that **** Sancho when he left City. At half time today they were saying he was man of the match. They just love to try and label Pep.as wrong by bigging up any player who leaves us.

Played well but he wouldn’t get anywhere near the same space we gave him at times if he played for us still.

Still, their most dangerous player.

Not nice to admit but he had a better performance than our Phil, he's just surrounded by garbage. (Thankfully) the players knew he was their key man too, they put in an extra effort to double up on him as often as possible.

I mean, were we expecting Foden to have a better overall performance than Palmer after the Real Madrid match?

Put Palmer in that situation and see how he performs…

The bbc putting up some stats comparing his premier league goals and assists.
More than Foden, Saka and Bellingham at Real.
Stats that were impressive but also didn't highlight loads of his goals are penalties.

Palmer definitely has more non penalty goals than Saka, who himself has scored 5 pens this season.

Yes they’re enjoying the “one that got away” narrative, just like we all did with KDB and Chelsea. It’s a good story.

He deserves all the praise though, what he’s doing is genuinely spectacular.

He’s still got a way to go though, and he’s still just 1 player in a crap team, so wasn’t surprised he had a quiet game today, although that one moment when he left Rodri for dead and got a good shot away was nerve wracking.

Cole Palmer is far too good for this Chelsea team.
City should look at signing him back. if Pep stays and builds another team, Palmer would fit in perfectly

Today shown that Chelsea is a million miles away from the levels Manchester City is on, (Champions Elite)
We were running on fumes today and still got over the line to book another final place, Chelsea played on Monday at home and walked home the points vs Everton.

Chelsea should be in the final tonight, Facing a beat-up City team that just went 120 minutes facing the best team in European football that lost on pens, Down and out heavy leggy playing on that Wembley turf, City was there for the taking,

Cole Palmer never got into the game really and only had a half-chance after turning Rodri and Powderpuff shot
