It was clear he was a very promising talent . Good on the ball and an eye for goal . Never mind we got Nunes.
That’s not the point thoughHe has the PL record gorvonsrcutive penalties scored.
Beat Yaya's record last weekend.
Not sure of Haalands record overall
That’s not the point though
But of course he wouldn't have as many as Haaland.Penalties removed;
Palmer 13 goals
Salah 13 goals
Haaland 20 goals
Saka 10 goals
Son 15 goals
Not really it was 4-3 to us and we gifted Chelsea the opportunity. He wasn't brilliant in open play at Stamford Bridge. Same with the 1-1 draw in the corresponding fixture.
You had me there till the last sentence. Good one.Pep made the right decision. We got 40m for an unproven player, it was the right decision and people need to move on.
There's a reason why Southgate didn't allow for Palmer to start any of the games, it's because Palmer is not a team player. It's the same reason why Pep never gave him a chance. It's the team that wins titles, not any one player. I saw pundits talking about his 100% penalty record being the highest ever in the epl as being some sort of achievement.. is laughable. Every time this guy does something the media tries to paint a narrative as if he is prime Messi. Not too long ago, people were raving about how he scored 4 goals in the first half which is the first time in the EPL history, but it shouldn't even count because one of the goals was from a penalty.
If you remove his penalties from his stats, he is probably no more than an average mid table player.
If he was so amazing last season, why did Chelsea finish 6th? The boy is clearly overrated. I would take Doku over Palmer every day of the week.
What I like best about Palmer is that he is throwback to another era. Perhaps he doesn't do it every week but he is fantastic. A maverick like Rodney Marsh for City or Charlie Cooke was for your team. Personally I am gutted we have lost him. He is just pure box office gold, the sort of unpredictable player people buy tickets to watch. The performances themselves were great, is what I'm saying.
He wanted to leave. It was clear he was a very promising talent . Good on the ball and an eye for goal . Never mind we got Nunes.
Please give me a game said Young ColeHe wanted to leave.
I wished he had stayed
But he didn't.
Trust pep.
Move on
