Colin Murray is a BALLBAG

Always liked him myself. Was great on Radio 1, enjoy Fighting Talk on Five Live when I catch it and don't see what's so wrong about him on MOTD2?

He's always been a big football fan.

The problem with these programmes, that over time, successful as they might have been, they have a habit of turning the main focus of the programme, in this case football, into having a back seat, whilst the idiots and pundits fronting the show, think it's all about them and how witty they can be and up-to-the-minute with their pathetic asides and insight into God knows what. There were seasons when MoTD was unmissable but the likes of Hansen, smug thinks he knows it all, done it all, no defender was ever as good as me, drawer full of medals, shit international, Lawrenson (slight improvement on the idiot Thompson) and The Creosote King (notice the accident he's had with a manic sheep shearer - see what I did there!) and I am beginning to think my life would be boundlessly enhanced by giving this programme a wide berth and waiting for the sixty seconds on the OS.

he has a nasal whining voice that should have prevented him having a job anywhere near a microphone.ever.has no redeeming qualities for me,laughing at his own unfunny comments is just another example of how not to be a decent presenter.

He is usually far fairer to City than other parts of the media, witness his Friday night Radio Five show, which is much fairer than the Monday night club, which seems relentlessly anti-City with the likes of Motson, Pleat and Mcgarry.

Don't know what his leanings are or were, but I have noticed that he hasn't got a selection of stock-in-trade snidey comments so beloved of too many presenters where MoneyBags MCFC is concerned.

This. Colin Murray is a sound lad and really does know his football.

woefull yesterday, motson was shoking, i thought it was a joke. I still have no idea what shearer is doing there, he makes stuff up. And the comment, "who would u rather have, drogba or berbatov?". I nearly threw the remote through the screen

I have to agree with the OP - I don't watch much TV and have never heard of the cnut before last night TBH - but as pissed-up as I was I still remember-cringing at his inane wisecracks as were Shearer and saggy tits. Didn't they also pipe our game on with a rendition of the Benny Hill theme tune or was that me and the DTs?
