Coming in & going out this summer

PSG confirmed some sort of interest in Nasri today, wonder where this could lead. He's having a purple patch but will it last? Would a £20million+ offer from PSG be worth turning down?

"I like the idea of luring great French players back," Leonardo told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I am not talking about [Karim] Benzema, but about players such as Nasri, Ribery and Cabaye. I don't know whether it's realistic, though, as I have not had contact with any of them."

If we can get our money back, I'd bite their hands off personally. Then we can look at spending that money on someone who can consistently contribute offensively from wide areas, which to be fair to Nasri, has never really been his game.

Nasri rounding into form just at the right time, to leave a lasting impression on buyers.

Yes, if legitimate bid comes in, sell.

Take the money and see if we can get Gotye. If not go balls out for Lamela.

I'd still go for Isco. Shame he signed that extension. Still feel bad about wanting Nasri over Mata, learned my lesson. Go Spanish.
Same but Mata is having his best form playing just behind the striker which he wouldn't do here and at Valencia he really stood out when Silva left.

Tonight convinced me more than ever that Fellaini coming to City would be a terrible mistake. He played in the role he would at City, holding midfield, and while he did a good job bullying and pushing around players he lacks the technical quality of a City player and misplaced quite a few passes. His most useful role is one he'd never play at City, off the striker and receiving long balls. He doesn't belong in a system like ours, it would be yet another square peg/round hole signing (see: Dzeko). If we want to move to the next level we should not be adding pure grafters (we have plenty) but technical and skillful players.

Very much this. Sandro/Gundogan/one of the Benders (stop giggling at the back) would be much more suited to us. Fernandinho might be a good shout too. Can't say much about Paulinho's style of play but he's very highly rated in Brazil.

Should bring in a mobile DM as Garcia doesn't seem up to it, Barry is aging and Rodwell still injury prone. Fernandinho and Paulinho are some possibilities for this, Bender as well. Also need a better attacking threat to take pressure off Silva assuming Nasri is leaving. Preferably an inverted winger who can play through balls but also has pace and can run at opponents and cross. Isco is a good option for this, not sure about too many wingers but for someone central if we can get Gotze that would be incredible. Finally I see us getting a striker, not sure who this will be, could be a big signing like Cavani or Falcao or perhaps Jovetic who would be a bit more withdrawn and get involved in play a lot more. That is three areas where I think we could see some top new signings, but it certainly promises to be an exciting summer. :)
