Commentary | Aston Villa away (pg 14)

I posted last night I could only get a Spanish stream and it was great to hear them getting excited about our style of play. Their voices went up a notch when our lads had the ball. They loved Mahrez, Bernardo and Cancelo, I laughed when they were shouting Fodden when he was on the ball. I can't speak Spanish so I suppose I mis-pronounce many Spanish names. Finally when KDB came on they just referred to him as Kevin. For me the appreciation of our team was almost as good as the win.

Thank you for posting this OP!

I didn't realise it was Ally McCoist. I thought he did a great job and increased my enjoyment of the game. His passion really came through and he was not taking things too seriously. It's only a game after all. No sourness which puts me off a lot of the 'big names' who sky and bt put up.

Dam I wish I had watched it now on Amazon,so many positive comments about the commentary and the pundits, maybe a few who have Twitter or Facebook let amazon know what a great job they did on the coverage tonight ..
There are extensive highlights as well as pre and post match discussion available on Amazon now. I should know I stayed up until 2am watching it all after I discovered it later on.

Did anybody else have lag? I got notified of the goals "before they were scored" on the app before the tv showed it must have been 30-45 seconds in each case. I don't have dodgy services either, I pay for Prime watch it on Virgin Cable with 500Mb broadband. That part of it needs to be corrected.
Out of interest why have alerts switched on when you're watching the game?

Sometimes when watching a stream and talking in the match thread you can be caught out as you're 2 or 3 mins behind on a bad stream, which is infuriating tbh lol

Ironically, Amazon’s football coverage is produced for them under contract by BT Sport and the production company Sunset & Vine. Yet the tone couldnt be more different from the tripe served up by the likes of Humphrey, McManaman, Darke and Ferdinand etc. That would seem to suggest that BT’s redshirts bias is purely an editorial decision.

I thought Ally McCoist was top. He seemed like he having a genuinely nice time being there and was really enjoying himself.

Thought the Amazon presentation was pretty good. I loved Owen banging on about when he played with Zidane... that would be when Zidane was ripping up La Liga and misfit Owen was sat on the bench would it!
