Don't think it was that one, that was the first live derby game.
It may have been the 3-3 the year after the 5-1 which kicked off early after the trouble at the 5-1
Knew it was 1-1 draw, just the wrong year and it actually kicked off at 11!

Why are they reluctant to put it on at 3pm?
Good god what do you lot want I've no doubt the keyboard warriors on here mouthing about a boycott are the very ones that wouldn't of bothered even if it was 3pm Saturday with free beer. Christ we've become the greatest club side this country has seen in modern times get down there and support the lads. Were going early Saturday day out then stop over for game. I hope the tourists snap up the bloody tickets and fill the place. Do you know was talking to a couple of blues yesterday and we all said funny thing is bet this will be a right turn out.

Surely, this should be about available train times back fro London for a start. Just imagine how any of the FA clowns/hierachy would complain, if they couldn't get home for their bedtime story from their nanny.

Shows how out of touch the FA and it's members are

The last few trains were easily doable with a 5.30 KO. Now with a 4 pm KO there are multiple more trains available. Some people on here were pushing for a 12.30 KO, which would make train travel far trickier.

This is a big win for us fans. It’s still not the perfect time, but it’s better and we made a point.

Well done to everyone who contributed.
Fraid not.

A win would mean the game equidistant to both clubs or even at The Etihad, home of the Champions, as was the case traditionally.

Additionally, a win would result in the FA committing to club grounds and 3 pm kick offs.

They've conceded as little as possible even a 3pm kick off, as a sop to get us off their case.

Don't be fooled by their too little too late sop.

Imo, they've compounded their arrogance.

The boycott and pressure continues, get on to your MP !!

Well done to 1894, the 3 City Matters Reps, the club for putting pressure on the FA, but most of all to everyone who was prepared to boycott the game. You have shown not only to City fans, but to all football fans, if fans make a stance, stick together, they can make a change and a positive difference.
Too little
Too late
Not enough
Home of the Champions
3pm ko
Nothing more
Nothing less
Keep the pressure on this is a sop not a victory !!

There were no fans, under 20k at home one season as the average.

The game was dying.
Yes, but we were the only income, and our financial support was life sustaining, and as such we were empowered. Admittedly there wasn't many decisions to be made, but in those days, games were played on Saturdays at 3pm, because if not, fans probably would not have been there.

The latest 1894 tweet confirms this boycott is still on and clearly embarrasses the FA, who admitted the first KO time was made without ANY consideration for supporters!

Saturday 3pm, that needs to be the target.
