I doubt that’s true in the slightest. Just because some kids in Oxford and Reading and buy a City shirt with Haaland on the back doesn’t make them anymore a City fan as it did British kids wearing Michael Jordan vests in the 90s Chicago Bulls fans.I would bet that a high number of city fans going to this live closer to Wembley than to the Etihad and won't feel inconvenienced by either the venue or the time.
The vast majority of those going to this will be proper City fans from around the North West, like it always is.
