I didn’t mean did you get one for him. I think you posted yesterday that loads of arsenal fans had got tickets in our end? I was wondering where u had heard this and how many you knew of? I assume u were speculating and the answer is probably none?

I was speculating whether these had gone on open sale but have been put back in my box. So hopefully tickets have gone to City families who don't often get chance to go.

Well, despite the best efforts of the 1894 group, and other fans sympathetic to this boycott, it would appear to be a sell out; perhaps in more ways than one!

As I had said there was 'no chance' this could happen, and true to my word, I will donate £100 to a charity to be chosen by @Corky. The Foodbank would be handy mind!

In many ways it's a watershed moment, and perhaps we long term Seasoncard holders now realise for certain, that we are not as vital to the club as we may have believed. Likewise the club may now see this as showing the potential to expand the stadium even further and faster than already planned.

Exciting times?
Worrying times?
Changing times?

Or perhaps just time to step aside and let those who've never experienced what this club have given me in 45 years of supporting, sample it more regularly for themselves!
Fanbase has been increasing exponentially for over a decade at home and abroad. Many season ticket holders swerve semi finals too and it’s about time members began to take up the slack.
I agreed with the premise of the boycott by the way and I think 1894 as usual did an excellent job here which included getting the kick off time changed.

It is exciting times and it shows how far we've come as a club since 2008. In the past we would have struggled to sell out for a charity shield game at Wembley, especially on a Sunday and a 4pm kick off. A lot of the foreign fans though will see it as a bonus and will make a weekend or more of it to visit London and see the game.

I've no bloody intention of stepping aside but I'm happy for them to go in my place for games like this.

I was hearing that in the FA cup final City had as many with South postcodes applying for tickets as the rags.
That is tickets outwith our normal allocation.

Just been chatting to an Arsenal supporter. He’s going with 4 others. One City fan and three Arsenal in the City end.

I wonder how many others will infiltrate the City end.
