We will slap Arsenal about like we always do. They are like a shiny new toy that we like to play around with.

2-0 to the treble winners.
This deserves more than a like.

Hope we go strong and put these lot in their place and set our marker down with another trophy for the season ahead.

While I want to win, I don't put a lot of importance on this game. Last year Liverpool beat us, Nunez scored and Haaland didn't and everyone was flapping saying Nunez would score more and that Haaland would be a flop...

We know how all that turned out.

A good fluid,75%intensity,work out.

Steady build up of fitness and rhythm.

60 minutes game time for the ‘A’s, 30 for the ‘B’s & 20 for KDB & Hannibal.

A really good performance and NO INJURIES
de Bruyne won’t be ready to play a few weeks yet, maybe Newcastle

Hannibal plays for United.

We always start slow and probably won’t even take this game that seriously, plus we haven’t finished our transfer business yet (hopefully!).

It‘ll be an Arsenal win and obviously Rice will get man of the match, followed by a communal media masturbation over how he’ll win the title for Arse this season and that we missed out.

Later in the season, when Arse struggle trying to get goals out of Jesus and Havertz, they’ll fade down to their usual third or fourth place and the media will quietly forget this game and pin their hopes on whoever is then second in the league to overhaul us.

Fully expect us to go in half arsed and Arsenal to go full tilt and win the game. There will then be a week of press articles about a "shift in power" etc etc. Saw this last year in the heady days when Darwin Nunez was apparently better than Haaland and Liverpool were going to win the league. Cut to Christmas and we will be 8 or more points north of Arsenal, and as usual all the Community Shield narratives will be laughed at once again.

Its a nice game to win but if you lose it, then it means absolutely nothing; Id much rather win at Burnley put it that way. Losing the Shield in 2011, 2021 and 2022 led to Premier League winning seasons.

More weight to this than any previous Community Shield just because we're in an unprecedented amount of competitions this season. Only Barca and Bayern have ever won six in a season before.
