Community Shield; blues behaviour North Stand

There is normally no beer when we go away at Villa anyway.

I doubt there will be in the future after this and the amount of fans who were thrown out.

I have been taking a flask of whisky to games now for years, saves all the push for a half time drink, and you dont need the loo in the 2nd half, experience is a fine thing.

Never been to an away game ?

Away games= getting pissed and having a sing song and yes there might be some bad langauge ;)

Sorry to dampen Sunday's celebrations, but felt very disappointed at the behaviour of some of our fans at half time in the North Stand.

The foul-mouthed tirade at the two ladies serving behind the counter was completely unacceptable. They must have gone away that afternoon thinking City fans are all arrogant drunken thugs. Yes, it was foolish there only being two servers for hundreds of fans, but as my pal remarked, it's hardly better at the Etihad.

In addition, those at the front of the queue were almost impaled against the wire sheeting at the counter by the masses pushing to get their half-time beer fix.

Let's try and conduct ourselves in a more refined manner when on our travels please; we don't want a reputation as evil Neanderthals. Think about others. There were plenty of youngsters around and they ought not to be exposed to that sort of behaviour.

Rant over.

Is this a clarkie??

Unless children were involved and then it gets a bit serious..

sadly some humourless drunken pricks think making everyone else's day a misery, is "all part of the atmosphere".

poor bugger in front of me sunday went to sit in his seat which was filled by a drunken slob, when asking whether he could sit in his own seat, he was offered outside and told to find another seat, with the full array of expletives.

i sat with my 7 year old daughter, and had to listen to the full repetoire of a drunken prick, while wondering at what point he was going to kick off.

this arsehole wouldnt have even known there were kids there.

Unfortunately this is happening more and more frequently at away games with the cretinous minority spoiling it for decent supporters. Three times last season ( Villareal, Wigan and Liverpool ) I was threatened by drunken morons for merely trying to sit in the seat I had purchased.

Whilst you shouldn't have been threatened does it really matter which seat you are stood in front of? How do you know someone wasn't in their seat and they just thought 'fuck it, as long as I can see the game I will stand here?'

It isn't like they are sat in your ST seat at home is it? Some people need to chill a bit, you are going to an 'away' football game, not an olympic gymnastics event.

I'm 63 years of age, first away game at Preston in 1964, and believe it or not when I buy a seat ( for anything between £35 and £50) I expect to be able to sit in it. I'm very disappointed that amongst City's support there has emerged a minority of disrespectful cretins, who seem incapable of watching a game without being completely arse-holed, and who don't give a fuck about anyone but themselves ...and this includes fellow Blues.

Totally agree that some of our support let us down but then again some of our support our are also self-righteous grumpy sods who need to chill out a bit and get off their high horses

i wasnt threatened, it was fuck all to do with me, and i would suggest the person who needs to chill is the confused prick in the wrong seat offering people out.
