Community shield Post match thread

While I want us to win everything aside from losing to the rags and the dippers it wouldn't have been too upsetting to have been beaten by another side today.. As it was the scousers thank God we won!

Liverpool as a club and fan base are the biggest bunch of self entitled classless wankers in football. Yes some clubs run them a close second but that is one trophy they will win every year. They were the same in the seventies and eighties. Even when they were winning everything they had no class, utterly despicable. They are hated by every other club on the planet. Unfortunately it looks like they will be challenging now for a few years. We owe it to football to deny them as many trophies as possible.

I wasn't trying to insinuate he had, merely asking what the rules were.

Dippers got to dip. It's the best excuse they have come up with to become the victims in a competition they didn't qualify for.

Maybe the wrong thread but on BT Sport at one point Hoddle was giving tips to Pep on how to manage.

I personally don’t mind Hoddle and sometimes he can provide some good comments, however someone should surely have pulled him up on this.

Riyad Mahrez was pulled out of Manchester City's squad ahead of the Community Shield by Pep Guardiola, after revealing he had taken medication for an eye problem. City feared Mahrez would fail a drug test, so decided not to take any risks. [@SunMartinB]

Yeah, he's not been to any parties since their win then? Quick thinking by Pep, wonder what made him choose his eyes as the "problem"
