As we've never been to villa park before, where would be the best place to park, or have they got any official car parks.
Where will every1 be going for the pre match drink, is there any official away pubs near the end of the ground we've been allocated to.
Cheers guys.
Cant wait for this, proper football is back.........COME ON YOU CHAMPIONS!!!

Re: Community shield questions ??

There is ususally an away fans drinking area on a street corner at Villa park but don't know if the police will allow it as both teams are 'away'

Why the need to look for an away pub, go in the city centre there are loads, cannot understand the need to be herded into a crap pub.

Because the city centre is miles away from the ground

Only 10 minutes on a train, Witton station's literally a 5 minute walk from Villa Park.

It's 2 minutes to Witton on the train from New street. Some cracking pubs round there.

Never see the attraction of being in a pub where it's 10 deep at the bar e.g. the witton arms at Villa, fernhurst at Blackburn.

I'll be there early and heading for breakfast in spoons on broad street

That's our plan. Will be in there at 10am.
