It was confirmed weeks ago.

Date is Sunday 31st July, 17:15 KO (cue more moans from our fans who are proper weird about kick off times!)

Should be a top day!
Why is it weird to expect a kick-off time that gives fans a greater range of transport options and a fighting chance of getting home at a reasonable time?

Because when it’s a mid-week match that kicks off at 20:00, nobody bats an eyelid. As soon as it’s not 15:00 on a Saturday at weekend people start having a meltdowns.

See it all the time on here.

Got a feeling there could be a good demand for tickets for this one from us.
Four of us have decided to stay over and have already booked digs.
Just to get in front of the 600.000 scousers that no doubt will want to be there. LOL.

Since when did sky care about any of them things?
Regardless of whether Sky care (they don't of course), we should still have that expectation. Otherwise, we just continue to allow the bastards to walk all over us.

I take your point but, for the record, I don't like 8:00 evening kick-offs either. 7:45 at the latest for me. Ideally though, I'd go back to the good old/bad old days when 7:30 was the norm with a 10 minute half time break. At my age I need to get home for my slippers and cocoa!

Why? Only 45,000 went to Wembley for last year’s City v Leicester game and that includes all the FA’s London luvvie hangers on. And we’ve not sold out any CS or FA Cup semi at Wembley going back a few years now.

This should add a bit of clamour for tickets (although going off this thread you’d imagine we’d struggle to sell out this!) and get those going who only really want to go which should make for a better atmosphere.
Maybe a bit more excitement for this one. I for one want to see the Viking run out in blue. And what about Isco disco? I think the new player effect will see quick sell outs for weeks.

Generally speaking (not just using this thread as a barometer) I'm sure there's loads more interest from City fans than there would be if it was at Wembley. This will sell out easily IMO
