If you want to go to a shit hole and pay £45 for a friendly then fair enough.

I wouldn't waste my time and money, although i'll watch it on tv if its on terrestrial - anyone know what channel its on?

Yeah ITV with Adrian Chiles!

Its worth paying £45 to go to a shit hole to not have to listen to that ****!

I can't believe tickets are still on sale, wasn't long ago most fans were bitching about only been allocated 13,500 tickets!

Yeah it may be a "pointless friendly" to some but its the first game of the season against the champions league winners.

People won't pay £35-45 for a ticket to a season opening event that allows you to win some sort of silverware (granted its no big trophy) but are happy enough to spend £50-60 on a ticket to go see Liverpool, Arsenal, QPR or Chelsea (who we're playing anyway) away?
yeah its only £45 for you mate but its £122.50 for me and kids why do you think they have got tickets left ???

He is two. He doesnt mind. I took him on the stadium tour two weeks ago and he is loving all things city at the minute so progressing well through my mind control techniques
people tend to forget just how important the kids are to future of the club are .what city did for the kids last season was more than incredible we made 11 home games wolves c cup and charity shield that cost me the amazing price of £70 for the lot !what city have got for that is kids that are starting to live breathe city like their dad and in coming years will give city £1000,s what the,ve done is got the kids wanting to go to every match then the £35 tickets come along you say no makes you feel a twat ! keep up the brain washing with the little one if its any help i used stand up if you hate man u and if you hate man utd clap your hands as nursery rymes it worked for them they now scream rag bastard at any red shirt they see !

He shouts "Dirty" every time he sees a United badge. I emigrated to Notts 5 years ago and so taking him to matches has proved more expensive and would have if I was still in Manchester. With him only being two I figured that I will take him to a cheaper game first as not sure how he will be. He is quite a hyper child and at the QPR game I am taking my Dad too and so making his first game a full on family affair. I wasnt allowed to take him last season as the wife wouldnt allow as he was too small. He has his membership now so he will be going a lot more

Yeah I can understand people with kids as they don't have kids prices for shield games. But I can't imagine we don't have 13,500 fans that don't have kids to pay for? Surely!

feel for you mate, quite sad you would love to go but have been priced out, some people on here don't realise how much 120 quid means to a family with bills to pay.

never call anyone with kids not going or paying those prices. Once youve kitted them out home and away for no small amount for the umpteenth season running the first week in August is a short month

how many have we sold out of interest.

It's impossible to say exactly how many but 3 out of 4 categories are completely sold out, leaving only the most expensive tickets (£45) which there are tickets in 5 blocks left for.

Had a look on chelsea site and all categories still available and on open sale with you being able to buy 4 tickets maximum purchase a time, so looks like their having trouble shifting tickets themselves
