Community Shield ticket information

When we don't sell out, I don't want to read a shit thread about how people feel they should have got an F.A Cup Semi/final ticket, shut up and deal with it.

This train works excuse is an easy opt out!

Probably less than 10% of those who go to Wembley ever go on the train anyway. An old saying and a very true one; a lazy and non committed person will take no time to find a reason not to do something.

'It's a Sunday'
'It's only a friendly'
'There's no trains'
'It's the holidays'
'It's expensive'
'We were there in March'
'The players won't take it seriously'
'It's on the TV'

All easy option lame soft arse excuses of convenience. As someone has already said, many of those who won't bother going are the same crew who whinge about not getting Cup Final tickets!

cannot buy top tier online, taken them off, guess a number is being handed to arsenal.
must be sold out.
Does anyone have a handle on which blocks have been on sale and which seats have gone?

I haven't had a chance to see until today and there was only one half of the lower tier from corner to behind the goal and three blocks or so round the opposite corner. No choice about what seat number, just had to take what was offered. Now all lower tier blocks behind the goal are listed.

if the allocation is 26400, then obviously we wont get an entire half of the ground (excluding club wembley) there will still be something like 15000 tickets to account for for other sources.

For me and my little boy it's going to be a fantastic weekend. Will travel from Germany Saturday until Monday. Saturday we'll watch Schalke at White Hart Lane and on Sunday it will be the first time at Wembley for my son. Perfect weekend and a perfect start in a new season. Last year we did Munich at the Audi Cup together. That was also brilliant! We can't wait...

They will be sorting out with the FA and Wembley a way to sort the allocations out because it looks like we won't sell out. Arsenal could sell an extra 20k for this so it makes sense really.

will it be possible, surely from day one city fans have purchased tickets in all the blocks available, albeit not in large numbers.

to not be able to sell 26000 tickets at wembley is pathetic.

City didn't make all the top tier blocks available, think it only went round to 517 online.

As my mates sitting in 518 with his family, with tickets bought from City last week, they were selling them further around.

You can't force people to go - I seriously hope there is a low crowd, it will show CIty fans have sense. We didn't sell 1,000 for Hearts, and the vast majority there were Scottish.

Ruin the FA's show piece, a contractual 'prestige' friendly. Teams used to opt of of this when it was possible to do so.
