Community Shield ticket information

How will supposed 'Blue' members buy tickets with last year's membership now expired and this year's new fangled 'Cityzen' bollocks not even launched yet!

Will it just be a case of a supporter number being used?

Maybe, but I'm sure somewhere over the last couple of months I saw 16th July mentioned for Cityzen cards going on sale, tomorrow we might find out. Either that or I dreamt it.

Ill be in the UK for this.. will tickets be on sale to blue members eventually on our web site? Looks like until the 19th of July its only on sale to seasoncard holders

Yeah you'll definitely get one.

They'll release blue member details when the current listed deadlines have passed.

Thank you mate.. Hopefully this new membership scheme is sorted out soon. Blue members seem to be in the dark at the moment.

Tickets ordered yesterday, arrived in post today. Impressive.

Tells you one of two things - either customer service have got their act together, OR more likely there'll be about 30 City fans at the game total.

Got my tickets in the post today! Does anyone know how sales are going ATM?

30 tickets sold so far, LTB says.. That's only an estimate though ;-)

I think just about any City fan that wants a ticket for this will get one.

If we shift all 26k we will have done well, as there'll be about 3 Tarquins to every City fan there, given its a short tube ride for them. Am amazed they only got 26k as well, but would expect their fans to snap up all the neutral ones given a Wembley trip is still a novelty for them.

Joking apart I agree mate, City and Wembley go so well together though, I couldn't miss one.

Apart from the very best seats, near the half way line, there are plenty of seats in every block still available as of Wednesday night ( 5,500 points + )

Not exactly flying off the shelf by the looks of it.

Who gives a fuck how many we take!

Still seems to be loads who care about what the rag fuckers think/say about are so called lack of attendance/support.

I can't wait for the 10th now. Waited how many yrs for all these trips to wembley I certainly wont be getting bored, disinterested anytime soon.

Will it go to open sale? feel bad jibbing in again, what with it being for charity and that.

Go for it mate.

The reason it's no longer called the Charity Shield is because the FA weren't giving away enough of the profits for it be classed as a charity event.

I don't know if these games ever go to true open sale. Do you not always need some kind of purchasing history? Maybe that's the problem.

I've heard that two are being sent out FOC with each SC. Not with Value Gold though.

You either heard that from a small wooden child with a rather large nose or indeed that is what you look like!

In block 105 Row 2.
Making a wkend of it. Getting the train to Leeds then from there to Kings Cross on the Saturday. Have a few around London and then stay over in the Premier Inn Croxley Green (Watford). Will never get bored of trips to Wembley.
