Community Shield Tickets

I can claim mine and my lad's tickets from Tuesday. We go on holiday on Sat 23rd and come back on Sat night 6th August, i.e. night before the game. If we could buy in person from the ticket office I could have nipped down any day this week. Because we have to book over the phone or online and they post them out they are likely to be posted while we are on hols.

So what happens ? I expect we'll get back from hols on the Sat night to find a Royal Mail card saying they are being held at my local Post Depot. But they won't be open again until the Monday after the game. And City won't post to any other address so I'm stuffed. Are City not aware it's holiday season.

Ring supporter services and tell them your problem. I'm sure that they will be able to sort something out.

Same goes for anyone in a similar boat with the same kind of logistical problem. The club have rules because they have to and generally, the vast majority are able to comply, but if there are genuine reasons why you have a special case, in my experience, the club will try and help.

disgraceful the 'blues' on here than cba arsed going cause they dont want to pay a measly fiver for secure postage! buying tickets online is painless and simple and doesnt take five mins better than standing in line shuffling for 7 plus hours!

You can't buy them in person at the ground.
