So do I and we lost at Elland Rd the following season but for some reason in the early 70s the teams that should have been contesting it turned their noses up at the fixture until it moved to Wembley.

I remember when we beat West Brom 6-1 at Maine Road in the CS
I was at that game and remember a great atmosphere to greet the newly crowned champions. Just checked the stats on the history section and it has Bobby Owen down for scoring 2 goals, I always thought he got a hatrick.

It might be a trophy to smaller clubs but not to us.

Smaller clubs like the rags. Mourinho was photgraphed with his 3 fingers for 3 trophies gesture and the rags were endlessly banging on about winning a 'treble'. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Wasn't going to go as it's nothing but a friendly but I am now.
Driving to Abingdon for a couple of nights with Mrs Moon to see our lad & girlfriend to get a last game with him before he goes abroad for 3 months.
