Not just the rags, take the last half hour of their build up to tonight's match as an example. You could be forgiven for thinking we're the away team playing in a foreign country.

Their 'French football expert';

"I really believe that Kylian Mbappe is better at 18 than Thierry Henry was". Apparently, he's a 'wonderkid'.

"Monaco have scored 108 goals this season....Good luck Fernandinho and co"

I'll have a look about when I get some time. A cross reference from LinkedIn to Facebook should narrow it down. Just find the nonce whose listed he's a digital or social exec at BBC Sport on LinkedIn & cross reference his name on Facebook to ensure they're a rag.

Once you've found that person, get as much info as possible and do the **** over.
 
Just reading live text and got to end of the game and first thing they say is 'so a 2-0 win will send Monaco through' I mean I know it's trivial but why put that?? Maybe it's just me.

It's not just you it is just a sad rag looking for positives from his sad perspective. If it was United they would say a draw would see them through. Sad, bitter, pathetic BBC.
 
Funny ain't it, the RAGS beat Blackburn 2-1 and it makes the main news page, not just the Sports. Possibly the game of the season don't get anywhere near.
 
I listened to 5 live on the way in and the way back and was staggered by how negative they were even by their recent standards. The buildup was all focussed on how good Monaco were. They spent very little time discussing us and when they did it was all negative, stating Pep had not prepared the team for Monaco properly as KDB did not know who some of their players were. Yes we conceded three goals against the most prolific side in Europe but after we scored 5 goals I would have expected "is City's front three one of the best in Europe?" but no it was "Will John Stones ever live up to his reputation?"

They had to be reminded by a City fan that we has actually won the game then they briefly talked about how good our forward line was then they quickly reverted back to droning on about how poor the defence was. Comically Chris Twaddle said Stones needed players around him with experience like he had growing up at Newcastle such as Kenny Sproggett and Davey Clogger. No mention of the character the side showed when 3-2 down. Willy apparently played no better than Bravo and there is only a "cigarette paper" between them. There is absolutely no doubt that an editorial decision had been made to put a negative spin on everything related to City.
 
City should have people working full time on this type of thing, threatening legal proceeding and digging dirt on the wankers.
