Complaint to the FA Premier League re the Berbatov saga

Obviously this is something they'd rather sweep under the carpet because it shows up, one way or the other, what a slimey business they operate.

Either Utd made an illegal approach & paid hush money or the Spurs board pretended it was an illegal approach to pacify their supporters whilst secretly negotiating with Utd. They'd all prefer it if we never knew the truth but it stinks.

You're doing a good job.

You should be copying in a couple of Daily newspapers with this saga Monty. You never know on a quite news day they may give it a few lines.

This whole fiasco highlights the fact that sport at its highest levels panders to the so called elite. Look at the stinking mess that is Formula 1 and the shameful treatment of Maclaren as opposed to Ferrari.
I have long held the belief that the FA and the other Authorities have favoured the strong , perfectly illustrated by Monty's examples of Swindon, West Ham and Spurs. Man U could also be added to that list as I believe they were found guilty of financial mis-practice some years ago yet escaped scot free(quelle surprise!).
Like others on here I would applaud Monty's efforts.

You know I tend to think your right, we all assume its the rags made an illegal approach, but the longer it goes on the more I think perhaps it was Spurs playing to their fan base and using City to that end.

It is of course a perfectly possible scenario and I am sure Spurs fans as much as anyone would want to know if this were true, given Daniel Levy's very public comments to the contrary on 1 September. I would imagine there would be an angry mob at The Lane baying for his head at the next home game if he had in fact given permission earlier in the day.

Myself, I just want to know the truth, whatever it is.

Monty, I take my hat off to you sir.

Your 100% correct to remind the Prem of there job. The top four have been getting away with it for years.

This time we were lucky we got Robiniho instead, but next time it may of be a vital player. One which we really need to crack on.

They should at the very least get a warning.

Best of luck with your appeal for honesty Monty.
