COMS Stadium Tour

Went YEARS ago.

My little brother was not even 1 at the time and now he is 6 so you do the maths.

I remember going down the tunnel and remember standing infront of the advertising boards where managers and players do post match interviews, pitchside - do NOT stand on that pitch or they literally hand, draw and quarter you there and then.

We went into the home dressing room and I remember the guide pointing out the drinks fridge, stocked with every type of lucozade, powerade and gatorade going.

I also remember the press room, I got to sit behind the desk in what is the managers chair.

Went round the stadium and past all the boxes and major suites and restaurants of notable interest.

I'd say its worth doing tbh. Would like to go again because I was only 15 at the time I reckon.

Went last week as an early birthday present for my son thought it was ok it lasts an hour lots of facts about the stadium and it's also very clear how much Sheikh Mansour has pumped into the infrastructure of the club as a whole, got ample picture time in the changing room and a certificate at the end was a nice touch!

You should have put them in the garden outside, the pitch gets dug up each year apparently so he will be long gone now I would think.

I did, it was o.k. As soon as the guide turned her back, I threw my old mans ashes on the pitch. I don't know why they wont let you do that anymore.

I went about 7 years ago, the Mrs got me it as a wedding treat, the icing on the cake was when we went down to the manager`s seat, and i got to see my name on my placard. happys days, thinks she paid £45 for the name and comment, does anybody know how long my name will stay on there?

Guide mentioned the names as we were in the tunnel sure he mentioned 10 years at least

the tour was ok. it took about an hour although when i went we wasnt taken in the changing rooms. it wasnt even match day and when i realised and rang later the people there just said it wasnt always garantee'd the places that you visit there. nice tour guide and over all nice experience especially for kids.

I did the tour a few years ago with my two lads 12 and 17 who refuse to support city just to annoy me. As I live in Cornwall I have to make the most of these pilgrimages so started with breakfast in the restaurant, look round the museum and shop, and then on to the tour with a coach load of Germans. It was soon established I was the only city fan, which was fine by me as I got Moonchester all to myself for hugs and phots. The Lady who took us on the tour was a posh bird who caught me off guard when looking right at me informed everyone the rags called the Colin Bell stand the ‘bell end’. Something that was lost on everyone else except me and my 17 year old who almost pissed himself.
I recommend the tour, hope you have a good time.
