Re: COMS to the Arctic Circle: Charity cycle for Christies

Top man Richard . Good luck . Considering Christie has saved my life on more than one occasion it would be rude not to already have a monthly direct debit donation set up with my bank ;-)

Be happy to donate mate. I've raised around £1500 myself for Christies doing various thing over the last 5 years. (London marathon, Great North run, Manchester 100 bike ride) Its a fantastic cause, and an unbelievable challenge you're taking on. Wish a was coming with you. Very best of luck

Great stuff mate. It's the first thing I've done for charity and would love to be able to raise over £1,000.

For anybody that is interested we now have a website http://arcticbikeride.com/ that has a blog (we started training today!) , information on Christies and a route and other such things...

Also, thanks for the donations so far but Bluemoon is currently £15 behind Mancityfans.net's total donation of £55! Come on guys you don't want to be beaten by that lot! Keep the money coming, it is all going to a great cause.

Many thanks once again.

I'd genuinely donate if i could, but i can't at the moment. Might get some money in the future, hopefully, at some point in my life. Sounds great though, i hope you've watched The Man Who Cycled the Americas for inspiration?

No worries. I feel cheeky asking strangers for money and to be honest I don't really like it but it is all going to a good cause I suppose. Yes i did watch the Man Who Cycled the Americas - very inspirational!

-- Thu Apr 22, 2010 7:00 pm --
