Yes.

BTW how similar are Alitidore and Big Phil's playing styles?

Altidore is better than Phil IMO, he is big and strong but also fast with bags of skill.
Phil did a great job for us, but I'd swap him in a heartbeat for Altidore.

I cant fucking believe we just did the Spanish....unbelievable!!!!! It reminds me a bit of USA vs. USSR in 1980 Hockey in the Olympics. Simply a massive result for the Americans...Anyone think we deserve respect now???

Great result but let's not get carried away. They were by far the better team in terms of skill, etc. We got goals when we needed them and defended well for the most part (great in the box but we get punished too often for not closing down enough in the final 1/3rd).

I like that we showed grit in the win but we are not a top team. Not even close.

Not a chance!

Far too much like Ishy Miller in build and style, which is why we got rid. Potential, yes, but composure in front of goal to be desired. His shot went straight towards the middle of the goal. It's Casillas that went early to his right and STILL almost saved it!

Big Phil is an improvement on Miller ergo an an improvement on Altidore.

We're not a top team, but we're a capable team. Our defense was immense, and at the end of the day we did have the best chances and fully deserved to get through. Hell, we even got our customary horrific red card and held on (though it was too late to matter anyways).
