On another note -Spain is obviously the more talented squad but for the US to show as much grit and determination as they did speaks well for our determination to consistently compete with the worlds top sides. We have a long way to go, but matches like today will do wonders for our morale.

The United States proved 1 major thing tonight....you don't have to be the best team in the world....just the best team in the Stadium. It wasn't pretty but the USA played with the grit and determination of a Champion tonight. They blocked shots, they took chances, they made Spain fight and in the end the USA won the fight and took an amazing win. Win or lose in the final...this team has come together and done us Yanks PROUD!!!
