Yeah, everyone should get prompted once but then that should be it (if it's working correctly).

Sadly I am getting the multiple privacy notices again. It keeps popping up whenever I change threads. I'll close down and log-on again later and see if that works.

Have you both deleted your cookies for Bluemoon, as per this link:
 
Clearing cookies didn't work for me, still getting the same pop up
 
scratch that, you have to clear site cookies as well as forum cookies, close and re-open chrome, then all seems OK again

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More
    More
    and then
    Settings.
  3. Under "Privacy and security," click Cookies and other site data.
  4. Click See all cookies and site data.
  5. At the top right, search for 'bluemoon'.
  6. To the right of the site (both bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk and forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk), click Remove
    Remove
    .
  7. Close and then reopen Chrome
If you've done this and are still having problems, please let me know.

Tried this on my Firefox browser and restarted my laptop but still getting the pop-up notice. In fact it seems to have become more frequent.

im still getting the pop up....but what do you on step 5? top right of where?
 
No joy i'm afraid, but i'm on Samsung mobile internet. Tried the same steps as last time but it keeps popping up.
Have you followed the steps here under the section “Managing cookies for a specific website”?
