COP26

She rages like a machine and has now used the foul language in many an interview which many revert to when they have nothing more to say.

No one or at least very few call her out on her hypocrisy and uncouthness.

You are obsessed by old man syndrome Westy one day if the planet doesn't fry you in the meantime (LOL) you will be an 'OLD MAN'.

How wonderful she took public transport from London to Glasgow I hope you were impressed.

I hope you are just as impressed by the extra flights required to get the necessary skill set available for her boat trips across the Atlantic and back for her and her wealthy father.

She said that COP26 was a waste of time but not enough for her to attend and spruik her stuff.

What difference is she actually making Westy other than attending these self confessed massive co2 producing protest events?

Follow me , we can make a difference , well what are you doing Greta other than using fossil fuelled generated equipment to spruik this garbage.

What is pathetic is you once again attacking the poster without so much as stating one positive contribution in meaningful terms that Greta herself has made to co2 emissions.

how much extra c02 was generated from those wishing to get a glimpse of their cheerleader?

Your MO is to attack the poster and forget about the issues.

I and many others are still waiting for you to hit the ignore button.

I reckon the earths temperature will have risen by at least one more degree before that happens.
I've made quite a few comments about the issues whereas the focus of your attention appears to be the activities of a teenage girl that you could easily ignore if she irritates you that much. She might be annoying to many but there's no denying that she's done more to raise awareness of the problem than most world leaders, and there seems to be no shortage of them that want to engage with her. Seems that unless she uses a home made bicycle made out of sustainable materials she's grown in her back garden, demented old men will continue to criticise her for using exactly the same means of transport as everyone else to try and discredit her views.

Here's an example of the difference she has made. Took me two minutes on google to find it. You should try it yourself occasionally before posting your made up rubbish.

Maybe that will do something to offset the amount of hot air you generate on this forum.

Blah! Blah! Blah! were f****d. Enjoy yourselves and don't have any kids.
If one of the world leaders had said that. I'd have believed them more than the platitudes they spoke with.

Rishi on this morning pushing the making me and my mates uber rich Is more important than the climate. It's disguised as a speech on costing it...

Struth westy even you surprise me falling for the usual tripe from Morung Express which by the way in the article attributes wonderful superlatives from Greta such as listen to the scientists as if its some new found mantra that never existed before Aristotle.

Difference my ass Westy , is google the science you go to make a point that doesn't even support your claim outside a cheap headline every time.

What have I made up ?

Every time you use that line and never once have you provided any evidence to support your claim which I know and you know is false.

Why should I do what you say I should westy seriously you can't even give me one sound reason to even question my view on Greta.

Do you even do what you say you will do and that is hit the ignore button that promise so often.

People like you who don't have an ability to follow through on their word are the type that people cannot trust.

Greta says a lot but delivers nothing when it comes to meaningful action on climate change.

She will still be banging on at COP 32 when most of Wales has submerged if we are to believe her if the world is senseless enough to have one outside the forum calling all to arms.

So you like her big deal , I have nothing against her personally outside the fact she is a hypocrite full of the hot air you refer to.

the only thing she says ad nauseam is that politicians cannot solve the climate crisis and they all speak with a fork tongue.

She offers nothing in terms of solutions and in fact is no more a spruiker than the Rev Jim Jones of the world but with a larger audience thanks to social media without the cyanide.

the sooner she falls in love with a bloke with a fossil fuelled passion for romance the better she will be and those who give her a platform as many have said.

I have no clue what you’re on about.

As for made up stuff how about the imaginary private jet that brought her to Glasgow.

I don’t particularly like her but if she annoys fossils like you she must be doing something right.

Grown men still getting upset over the actions of a young girl, who, in a few short years, has got a whole generation talking about climate change and having open discussion about one of the biggest issues the world faces.

Staggering really, truly unbelievable.
Greta is wrong that all politicians do is go Blah! Blah! Blah! and do nothing.

Some go piffle wiffle waffle veni vidi vici paffle fluffle spluffle and do fuck all.

Let me put it too you simply westy , if you say you will place me on ignore then do so rather than keep inferring you will and not following through.

if not don't bother inferring you will.

Again all you show is your dislike and contempt for me and that is fine but wouldn't it be better you trolled those that you believe are in your camp.

I postulated the question westy that is all and many that wish to have an audience with her will use private jets westy that wouldn't turn up if she didn't.

You are not that quick on the uptake.

How do you regard her views on the slave and often endangered labour from the Congo used to mine the Cobalt in her Nissan Leaf?

Don't think I've ever said I'd put you on ignore. I just don't read the majority of what you post because it's mostly barely intelligible gibberish.

You clearly suggested her rich parents laid one on for her to go to Glasgow.
I wonder if she was flown to Glasgow by private jet which per person emits on average 10 times the c02 of a economy class flight.
There's no need to make up some waffle about postulating whether people use private jets to see her. That's just ridiculous.

I have no idea what her views on Congolese labour practices, and as far as I can gather she used a Nissan Leaf for a day or two which hardly is enough to define her preferred mode of travel.

As usual you are doing your best to silence anyone that challenges your antediluvian opinions with accusations of trolling. You need to look at yourself as far as trolling is concerned with your regular idiotic fantasies about my personal life, none of which are true and are probably projections of your own pathetic existence.

Back to COP26, as has been stated earlier, she has probably done more than anyone to put this subject at the forefront of international concern and it is quite possible that her contribution to the worldwide movement for action will help those with the actual power to do something about it achieve a more ambitious agreement than otherwise would have happened.

But for some, they won't look past the fact that she's a bit shouty, uses rude words unbecoming of a teenage girl and drove an EV round Bristol for a day or two that might have incorporated a couple of kilos of Cobalt mined in Congo in questionable circumstances.

We are pissing up the wrong tree with EV's. The key to slowing man-made climate change is energy efficiency ACROSS THE BOARD, not shredding up the planet to scrape together the component materials for some fancy batteries that will go into electric vehicles that ultimately have very little positive effect on climate change over their full cradle to grave life-cycle.

Until a Bill Gates/Musk/Besos type figure finds a way to make billions on making the environment cleaner were fucked.

The more I watch it the sadder I'm getting at what seems to be governments and corporations trying to shift the blame off them onto us plebs not doing enough.

Why do people engage with @mancity1 ? T1t is the word that instantly springs to mind when I see his posts. Just smile and nod your head and maybe he will go away.

I'm inclined to agree with that. Looks like a case of outsourcing carbon generation to the countries that mine the minerals that are used for the batteries. I'm sure someone's done a calculation to demonstrate an advantage but I would have thought Hydrogen would be a more sensible area to invest development money, particularly as the energy density for hydrogen is actually greater than petrol or diesel and it's the most abundant element in the world. There are a number of technologies available to extract Hydrogen from water and with appropriate investment you would have thought they would be scalable to meet a mass market.

As you've tagged him don't be surprised if you are on the receiving end of a tirade of barely intelligible waffle full of idiotic phrases and incongruous idioms.

I suspect that the problem with hydrogen as a commercial fuel source is that none of the major manufacturers are willing to commit because of the costs associated with overcoming the real and perceived safety issues.

Old man raging at teenage girl trying to make a difference. A bit sad really.

Any well know figure trying to help combat the climate, or racism or any other issue get pelters from the Trump loving right wing.

Greta, Biden, Lewis Hamilton, Harry & Meghan, Rashford…and many more

They want to desperately silence them and stop them from promoting good causes

totally agree with your point. It’s sad really.
