Copa America 2024 thread - Premier Sports UK

Just watched the Uruguay v Panama match highlights and just wanted to share that Nunez is still hilariously bad.

He scored one very lucky goal but the rest are a comedy compilation of misses.

Needs ten chances to score one.

Savio just came in for Brazil for Raphinha. They also subbed off Vini Jr. BTW...Still 0-0 with Costa Rica. Paqueta and Bruno G nothing too special so far. Old Danilo (remember him?) still their first choice RB it seems.
EDIT: Savio has got something all right. Kind of like a left-footed Doku on the right. Very talented but not a great end product most of the time. But the kid does have bags of talent. It's plain to see. Still 0-0 in the second minute of injury time which is five minutes. Brazil peppering the CR goal...

I will never get back the 90+ mins on watching the Brasil. Thankfully late start later today. Ended 0-0. Some resolute freight train parked by Costa Rica. They defended well and keeper kept them it.

Was a decent game, the Argentina one despite the low scoreline. Chile troubling them late in the second half and Argentina snatching a win in the end. Bravo made some decent saves as well.

Alvarez scores the first goal for Argentina in the semi’s.
Just saw the goal & great to see Julien on the scoresheet even though it looked rather fortunate with his finish going through the keeper’s legs.

The waterlogged pitch in New Jersey looks like a nightmare to play on.

Agree with you on the pitch. Unsure why they went that heavy with watering the pitch
