Copenhagen Away

Totally agree with everyone. Fantastic trip. Every local I spoke to was friendly. No trouble at all. The Police and Stewards were great. Getting to and from the ground was really easy bia Metro. So was getting in and out of the Ground. Service at the bar was quick. Drinking a pint on the terraces. ;;-) Great atmosphere inside the ground. Like others, I would definitely do Copenhagen away again.

Reiterate what everyone else us saying . Fantastic city , fantastic people and hopefully we'll be back . In the meantime is there anyone wanting to buy a kidney ?

£40 in a taxi robbing cunts
The sly bastard definitely had you over on that. The meter was showing 117DK when he dropped us off at the ground. If I’d known that he pulled a fast one, I wouldn’t have tipped the fucker!

Anyway, what a great trip that was - up there with the best European away days. A lovely friendly city if a little on the pricey side beer wise (got stung for £9 a pint in a bar opposite the main station after the game), and from what I could gather the rumoured attack on blues after the game that their hooligans were said to be planning never materialised. The Copenhagen fans I spoke to were great and there was no edge at all between both sets of fans.

Good to put a name to a face mate.

Seriously, whoever used that portaloo after me wasn’t getting out alive ha ha

Yeah, got back home about an hour ago - both flights were on time. I’m shattered though - didn’t get back to the hotel until about 4.30 this morning.

Those early flights are a killer. Especially as you had to drive back from London as well. Remember doing an early flight home for Bayern away (the game when Tevez refused to come on) and it took a lot out of me.

Sat on train back to Manc from london Euston having flown back to Stansted.
Last night a few of us were discussing Paul Lake getting in this team and how unlucky he was with injury. No one had heard much about him for a while.
Just bumped into him on the concourse at Euston as he seemed to have just travelled down and he was using a walking stick. Could'nt help but say something to him, he was a bit taken aback by me stopping him and I had no City colours on. He managed to tell me he is recovering from another leg operation. I wished him all the best.
Small World!
