I have been picking up lots of fruit from the Spar on Oxford Road lately and as a result have been finding myself with plenty of copper change, which in all honesty is a pain in the arse.
Since I upgraded from my zip up Ellesse wallet my mum got me when I was 13, I now have to put my change in my pocket, which is a pain in itself, but it's worth it when carrying coins of a value of 5p and upwards, but those rusty brown copper things are just a waste of my time
Don't get me wrong, I'm tighter than cramp, but I just don't think it's worth having the 1 or 2p's weighing me down and holding me back as I venture through the mystical journey of life. I've been throwing the copper away as soon as I leave the shop, but folk keep coming u to me and pointing out that I've 'dropped' my change (I've not dropped it, I've thrown it away!). Obviously with me being so kind and generous I'd give my copper change to a charity box by the till (I'd keep the silver change mind) but this Spar doesn't seem to have one, so I was jus wondering what you lot do with yours and if anyones got any decent ideas, cheers
