Corinthians make 35 million bid for tevez (MERGED)

So this is for real? i thought this was a plot by his agent to make Real make a move as well. Is he really willing go to Brazil and would his wife be happier to live there?

£60 million to Corinthians with £20 mill waived upon completion of minimum term within contract.

e.g. 6 year contract. £10 mill payment per season. Years 5 & 6 contractually waived assuming he is still at Corinthians after 4 seasons. If he moves from Corinthians within the contract timeframe then the original fee of £60 mill stands and the balance becomes due with immediate effect.

ta

This your idea?

yes mate

if this move is truly about returning to south america then such a deal should pose no problems. if it isn't then we aren't shafted.

We dont really know. He's agent is in bed with Corinthians, so he could get them to make funny bid, just to make their fans happy.

If take it, and they "say" their funds fall through, then Madrid or Inter can swoop in and say.. "OK we can take the deal from here, same price ok?"

Corinthians Confirm They Have Not Yet Given Up On Signing Manchester City's Carlos Tevez
The Brazilian club have underlined they have not yet dropped out of the race to sign the Argentina international

Corinthians have affirmed they are still in the race to sign Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.

The Brazilian club revealed on Tuesday that they had lodged a bid in the region of €40 million to sign the striker, who wants to leave City to be closer to his family.

British sources have claimed that such effort was swiftly rejected by City, as it fell short of their €56m valuation of their player, and Lancenet now claim the Premier League club sent an email to Corinthians on Wednesday morning thanking them for their offer but stated they had no interest in it.

However, Corinthians will not lower their heads and have stated they are still locked in talks with City to sign the Argentina international.

"We are still in negotiations, we hope they will look at our proposal with endearment," Corinthians vice-director of football Duilio Alves said.

"They want a bigger fee, we want to pay a smaller fee. That is it. We are talking."

Corinthians have set a deadline of Sunday to wrap up a deal for Tevez, as the Brazilian transfer window closes on 20 July.

It would be really clever head tactics by Bobby et al, if it turns out Tevez is fit ready and happy to play for City next season.

Watch them all panic when the Barclays Premier League top scorer pops up for another season in the blue shirt.

Nice work City?

Welcome Rag
