Corinthians make 35 million bid for tevez (MERGED)

so so risky

No its not IMO, we don't need the money, we have money coming out of our ears, the Brazillian Transfer window closes in a few days, this isn't Corrintians who are going to give us this dosh this will be Kia + Tevez buying back the third party ownership, make them pay the market value otherwise they will get a player under value and make a killing next year. If it doesn't work out he can rot in the reserve until Christmas, it won't impact on FFPR. We have nothing to lose he has.

One thing is for sure...they have to make the bid quickly because they wont sign him unless the deal is done this week.

Any movement should happen fast.

Just because their fans are all bad mouthing City for not letting him go at a mickey mouse price I would be tempted to keep him... even if he is miserable you always get a good performance from him.

Is the new 40mil bid confirmed?!

If it's serious and the payment method is transparent then we should accept

It's more likely some idiot journo who doesn't know the difference between euros and pounds.

if they have bid 40 we shud accept straight away, even with the ffpr we dont need the money, we wud only get 5 or 10 more off a madrid, malaga etc. and there in europe so lets get him out and get him replaced asap

£60 million to Corinthians with £20 mill waived upon completion of minimum term within contract.

e.g. 6 year contract. £10 mill payment per season. Years 5 & 6 contractually waived assuming he is still at Corinthians after 4 seasons. If he moves from Corinthians within the contract timeframe then the original fee of £60 mill stands and the balance becomes due with immediate effect.
