Coronation Street

Have never watched a full episode in my life.

Had the misfortune of watching about 15 minutes of Eastenders the other week while waiting.for the next programme.
Is that escapism? If so what are they escaping from?
Every fucker was moody and miserable and "hiding a dark secret"
And does anyone actually work away from "The Square"? Everyone living, working, socialising in a small area and shagging each other too. All in 15 mins!
You'd think they'd kop off with someone outside the area so not to get caught.

Brookside was the only one worth watching and thankfully they knew when to pull the plug.

But with all the atributes of a major city, cathedral, main hospital, railway station, international airport, motorway hub, container port, corner pub and a mechanics.
They go to Manchester for all that, just like I used to from Stalybridge....well, hospital was in Ashton.

I've watched Corrie since the very first episode in 1960, missed around fifty episodes maybe up to 1977, and not a single one since, due to the invention of video recorders. Yes it does have it''s ups and downs, but overall I love it. Here is the Corrie set with The Imperial War museum peeking over the top of the viaduct. This is never shown, due to the clever use if camera angles.small.jpg
