NORTH WEST OUTSIDE GREATER MANCHESTER

Once again Merseyside was hit worse than GM. At least lockdown saves Boris being forced to put them into tier 4 weeks too late as it would be and this obscuring the ridiculous decision never to do so.

It was a catastrophic error that will have cost many lives there tragically, But hopefully also finally seen an end to the hopeless tier strategy.

Liverpool 622 cases - up from 592 to highest in a very long time. Nearly double Manchester and its Pop score rising by 125 in a day versus Manchester's 62 making clear which is worst.

Wirral 379 - up from 267 and also more cases than Manchester and compared to Manchester's 62 Pop rise Wirral's rise was 117,

This has been brewing since the mistake pre Christmas of not going into Tier 4. Which I think Merseyside quickly realised was not a cause to celebrate. It gave them a few fans at Anfield and Goodison but citizens paid dearly for it.

They have a longer way back from where they are now than GM does.

Yeah, I can't help feeling that in years to come there will be major health issues traced back to this virus.

If there is any truth to these stories regarding exercise then it opens a whole new can of worms.

Can you fill me in on stories about exercise please, not seen anything on that

Same measures that loads of cunts ignored in March. It's time measures were instigated and people were forced to adhere to otherwise penalised heavily
To be fair the first lockdown was extremely successful, the vast majority of people stuck to the rules and the resulting drop in cases and deaths showed it.

3 months would be a total disaster. For me. 3 million of us in the same boat! 3 MILLION!! 5% of the population isnt it?
I think he means, that while Furlough is still being spent up to April, extend it to those like you.

The lockdown may only be January but the furlough can keep going after it

No he’s not actually, quite a few of us would prefer these decisions to be voted in properly instead of them just making decisions off the cuff, and let’s be honest they’ve made enough wrong ones to be fair!!
I don’t think it’s off the cuff mate, SAGE have been saying about total/strict circuit breakers and lockdowns since September, and the current new strain trend is more alarming than at any point since we’ve heard of Covid.
