My neighbours have 7 kids, 3 are school age, 4 are over 18 (3 of the 4 have moved out). Each week, the 3 return to the family home. I've then seen the 3 get picked up outside by partners sometimes or bring their kids to see their grandad/grandma etc. On top of that he's a trader, so has various different people coming into the house. I've seen them have friends over with their kids. The people they interact with do the same. No wonder we are fucked.

I see similar here, so you can by that analysis deduce that this is and has been the same throughout the country for months. In my area I haven't heard of or seen any of these visitors or grandparents becoming ill as a result. So as strange as that sounds perhaps it is a kind of positive sign? That millions have been mixing unbeknown to the authorities for months and not been infected.

I think the odds of those people getting seriously ill are still low but when you ramp that up with big infection possibility, then you play the odds game. I'm largely ok with the roadmap, save a few things, but I can see it being delayed
Would not surprise me either. But the reality is we have to learn to live with Covid and we are not planning to beat it into non existence just get to a point where it is on a par with flu.

The vaccines will get better and will react to changes annually like the flu jab and we will come to not forget it s here but treat it as an acceptable risk that we take precautions about if we feel vulnerable,

How can you say with any certainty that we will never lockdown again?

Feel sorry for Whitty, a highly intelligent man who is gagged by buffoons

Is there not a chance that this virus could one day mutate itself into non - existence.

A person called Rachel rings in to the briefing asking for the UK to donate all its vaccines to developing countries after the top five groups have been vaccinated.

I supose she will be happy to explain to the family of a 52yr old from Wolverhampton, London or Manchester that they died of covid as she thought it was better that the UK gave its vaccines to a foreign country.

Uum possibly not.
