I find it quite funny the people who jump on the media bandwagon for faster opening up when the Government’s timeline is designed to make this the last lockdown (fingers crossed). I assume the posters have just finished swearing at Megan Markle and Harry on TV (I haven’t watched that shite I’m afraid) and got worked up because we haven’t heard off some posters in months. we are only a month from beer hardens reopening so try to be patient.
 
Think there were people on here mentioning about being 55 when the NHS national link bizarrely was at 56 and over, just to let anyone know that they’ve now amended it and it is 55 and over.

Still, I cannot remember one person wanting a permanent lockdown. I doubt anyone has ever said that.

Those people do exist, but it isn't those who are urging a bit of caution before we open things up. No, it's the tin foil hat wearers who think Covid is a hoax and a global conspiracy to control us forever more. These people absolutely do want a permanent lockdown because that's the only way their claims will have any credence. As such, they're totally shitting it at the prospect of all restrictions being lifted and normality returning, despite claiming that's what they want. And when that normality does return, I'm going to take great delight in ramming their shitty conspiracies right back down their throats.

I’m 50 and got the invite from the local Primary Care Network / GPs over the weekend (I’m in Leeds). Vaccinations are progressing at a decent pace and if the quantity of doses falls a bit this week that’s only a temporary issue before supply is ramped up.

FWIW, I got the first jab a few weeks ago (for social care volunteering) but it was still reassuring to see how quickly the vaccine roll out is going.

Beer hardens are not for everyone...the patch of scrub grass outside my local will no doubt be pressed into service...for those punters who like freezing their balls off and sucking in diesel fumes to compliment the session.
