People seem to have taken from Johnson's statement that the lockdown will be for 6 weeks.

This is not what he said, and almost certainly not true.

What he said was that if 2 million per week can be vaccinated, then the four most vulnerable groups will have had the jab in 6 weeks.

1. 2 million per week is an absolute best case scenario. Unlikely, not impossible.

2. It takes 2-3 weeks for immunity. So that takes you to 8 weeks absolute minimum.

3. Hospitals will still be full of the already sick and dying. That will take a few weeks to clear.

So 8 weeks is the absolute best possible case. 12 weeks is probably realistic; 6 weeks is not possible. I'd love to believe 6 weeks, but it's hard to imagine I'm afraid.
I thought it's to be reviewed fortnightly. Not that, that will alter much.

I think something will have to reviewed by mid Feb if only to decide if schools are going back.

Sure, just trying to be realistic (not Johnson's strong point) about how long this is going to persist.

Of course, if they'd done this a fortnight ago, 6 weeks would be possible, as cases would only be half what they are now.

Perhaps the arresting and charging of Margaret Ferrier, albeit belatedly, will help people understand that it is important to adhere to the rules.
