GM boroughs weekly past 7 day case totals:

Bury 588, Rochdale 646, Trafford 766, Oldham 799, Bolton 832, Salford 864, Tameside 924 , Stockport 1093, Wigan 1152, Manchester 1586

At the right end of the table Bury now well clear. Though Rochdale closing the gap with a good run.

At the wrong end Wigan and Manchester improved and Stockport rose and is as close to Manchester as it has ever been and Wigan is catching it too.

GM WEEKLY POP SCORES

Remember low scores good - going down good - high scores bad - going up bad

BOROUGH // POP SCORE TODAY // POP SCORE LAST WEEK // UP OR DOWN BY LAST 7 DAYS

Also WAS 4 weeks ago (up/down in past month)

MANCHESTER 285 // 301 //DOWN 16 WAS 344 (down 59)

BOLTON 289 // 255 // UP 34 WAS 235 (up 54)

ROCHDALE 289// 313 // DOWN 24 WAS 279 (up 10)

BURY 308 // 300 // UP 8 WAS 293 (up 15)

TRAFFORD 322 // 356 // DOWN 34 WAS 338 (down 16)

SALFORD 329 // 351 // DOWN 22 WAS 360 (down 31)

OLDHAM 337 // 292 // UP 45 WAS 344 (down 7)

WIGAN 349 // 319 // UP 30 WAS 279 (up 70)

STOCKPORT 371 // 394 // DOWN 23 WAS 326 (up 45)

TAMESIDE 407 // 467 // DOWN 60 WAS 324 (Up 83)

Manchester's good run of cases means it finally grabs best Pop Score in GM right now.

Moreover Rochdale's low low cases have seen it fall sub 300 too and are now level with Bolton in second who seem to have flattened off and are not falling much now.

Tameside is clearly in most trouble BUT has started falling well over recent days and closing in on a faltering Stockport. These two look likely to swap places this week unless Stockport gets its act together.

Though Tameside is falling faster than Stockport is rising so if they do swap it seems likely to still be sub 400. Which is something as Tameside looked certain to go into the 500s a week or so ago.

Apologies if posted already. This is the important data we need - good news

This proves without doubt how amazing the vaccines are, how cases don't really matter and how anti-vaxxers are absolute fucktards. They are the ones making life difficult for the NHS and hence other people who need non-Covid treatment.
Proves beyond doubt that there is dying of Covid and dying with Covid

I see this morning that Nicki Minaj's cousins friend has picked up an STI just before he was due to get married, told his fiancée that the symptoms were due to getting the vaccine and Minaj has reported this lie as fact to her millions of followers on twitter thus creating another wave of anti-vaxx hysteria on her timeline. What a world we live in...

Please explain what the significance of this data is in that regard?

'cos it's not obvious to me - indeed the extraordinary difference in death rate between vaxxed and unvaxxed surely suggests the exact opposite, that Covid must be the root cause of all of those "involving" covid deaths, otherwise the vaccine wouldn't have made so much difference?

If you’re getting your medical information from Nicky Minaj’s Twitter account, there’s no hope for you full stop.

Who? Never heard of him (or is it a she?)

It’s a shame that 12 to 15 year olds are being asked to take the vaccine because 1 in 9 adults wouldn’t. I know there appears to be a marginal benefit to youngsters taking it but the evidence doesn’t seem to be conclusive. As long as take up is voluntary then maybe that’s reasonable.

Yes don't believe her. I remember that bloody Alice Cooper singing school was out forever, ending with schools been blown to pieces. Imagine my dismay in September when it was still there.

I'd still believe Alice over her though.

Seriously not just 'pop' stars but people especially with big media followings need to put just a little bit of thought into what's posted online as the 'spark when walking' brigade will believe anything.

Every single study done shows a benefit directly to the children. Often multiple times the risk.

"Marginal" is a subjective term not even defined by JCVI.
