Some positive signs of progress in this country now, however the media need to start play their part IMO.
What I find very annoying is the way every news bulletin mischievously suggests that everything will go horribly wrong. why can they not be more upbeat?
They keep wheeling out professor Ferguson, an absolute twat of a person who was caught flouting his own lockdown last year!
Despite this personal shame of his he his now back on his high horse saying holidays should not go ahead, what right does this idiot have to lecture people ?
The news networks and papers are giving the science boffins too much airtime because they are desperate to stir up controversy.
However the constant anxiety these reports causes makes people, me included edgy and anxious all the time.
They need to play their part in escaping the hell of the last year.

According to the Twitter feed reaction to a Times story I cannot read AZ have lost millions by making the vaccine at not for profit numbers and the campaign against them is dispiriting people.

Based on the responses on Twitter an awful lot of people seem to think we have been used as experiments by taking it and dire consequences will follow.

IF there is any credance to this then the press should be doing this kind of stirring.

But if there is not - and from what I have seen in here from experts I trust more than any politician or journalist there is not - then they should be ashamed of in effect trying to sabotage the British vaccination programme and make those who have 'gambled' on having the vaccine feel afraid or stupid.

Not to mention fire up the crackpot army of anti vaxxers.

IF there is a real story here we need telling urgently. If it is as I suspect more scaremongering they need censoring.

Can anyone actually read it? As I would trust the Times way more than the Twitterati reaction to it which likely just sees the bits it wants to see and ignores the ones that 'do not compute'.
