I will not, but then i believe that my health will not put me there, and that was the point we have no figures age or health on those that have died or even ended in hospital yet 18 million have taken the jab that are not at risk.

I know plenty of fitter people than me who had it worse than me. Also heard of one who died as well. Anyone who says they trust their body to deal with it hasn’t got a fucking clue what they’re talking about.

Some positive signs of progress in this country now, however the media need to start play their part IMO.
What I find very annoying is the way every news bulletin mischievously suggests that everything will go horribly wrong. why can they not be more upbeat?
They keep wheeling out professor Ferguson, an absolute twat of a person who was caught flouting his own lockdown last year!
Despite this personal shame of his he his now back on his high horse saying holidays should not go ahead, what right does this idiot have to lecture people ?
The news networks and papers are giving the science boffins too much airtime because they are desperate to stir up controversy.
However the constant anxiety these reports causes makes people, me included edgy and anxious all the time.
They need to play their part in escaping the hell of the last year.

So to paraphrase anyone who threatens your fortnight in Malaga should be shut down regardless of the data.

Some of us have had only 26 days’ of legal social mixing in just over a year now.

What was it that you think my post was implying ?

just pointing out reopening of pub gardens and house gardens is going to result in a lot of household mixing - we are likely to see a sharpe rise in cases but I pray the vaccines will have taken affect in keeping hospitalisations down and deaths down and we don’t have to go through another lockdown again.

That's devastating, it makes it more important for everyone who can take the vaccine to protect people like you. All these fuckers refusing to have the vaccine and not adhering to face coverings in public places with their sham Amazon lanyards have blood on their hands, wish they could spend a day in your shoes. We’ve already seen case numbers no longer dropping yet the deaths are still on a downward trajectory. As you say, hopefully now that nearly all the most vulnerable have been vaccinated, even if case rates rise there won’t be a significant impact on death rates and we can get back to some sort of normality sooner rather than later.
