Not been called for my vaccine yet so I'm going to try my luck on Saturday and turn up at the vaccine place near me and see if they have a spare one I can have.
Want to make sure i have in case it's a prerequisite of getting a ticket for Everton game.

I worry that these vaccines have been too rushed.
This development is concerning.
Presumably you would have preferred that they took their time developing them and approving them, while 50,000 more people died every six months..?

They normally test drugs on 10,000 to 30000 people from i can gather. 1 person has died for every 250,000 people given the vaccine in the UK.

The risk is negligible and quite possibly would not have been detected during standard trials.

As I see it:
The main (and largely overlooked) point is that regulators issued Emergency Use orders for all the vaccines; none of them have gone through the years-long testing procedures which would normally be needed.

I don't think this is correct.

All the usual clinical efficacy and safety data were provided.

The only condition of emergency use was individual batch testing.

As I understand it, could be wrong.

The specific issue turned up now would *never* be discovered in any clinical trial - it's just too rare. It would only ever turn up on rollout.

This is not to do with the speed of development.
