How many weeks after it did people start to get some strength and energy back.
Yeah, this all differs mate.
Just be reassured you’ll get better eventually.

Tool me nearby 3.5 months to get my fitness relatively normal and I still suffer shortness of breath & coughing episodes.

Back running now though (and gym) which was the hurdle.

Re Pfizer - Believe the IP is held with Biontech which is German so wouldn’t fall under the US ruling if they do administer it and suspect the EU would have reservations about following suit
The IP is so-so, the vaccine and indeed the process is easily copied (within the context of pharma companies). The real issue here is whether any territory has the guts to remove market exclusivity. It would set an awful precedent and therefore our scoreboard says...
UT URRR.

China have been at it for years, the reason many of the Pfizers/AZ's/J&J's of the world don't market there is because as soon as you submit your dossier it's in the hands of generics manufacturers and you're constantly fighting to keep your exclusivity. Some blockbuster drugs are worth the effort to quickly hoover up a profit but after that it becomes much too much of a ball-ache to maintain.

Great news that you've managed to keep progressing. Do you think the waning of your long COVID symptoms is tied to getting the vaccine? I know that many have reported long COVID symptoms tailing off once they've been vaccinated.

England hospital deaths today 21 with just 1 from the NW.

This is up from 13 with 2 last wk

wks before:- 22 with 3, 28 with 4, 34 with 11 and 43 with 2.

Not as bad as it seems as likely still hold over from the extra day with no registering on Monday so akin to a normal Wednesday - though it seems undeniable we are at levels now where a bottoming out effect will be almost inevitable.

The 1 for the NW was in Manchester by the way.

Other regions:- 1 East, 3 London, 8 Midlands, 5 NE & Yorkshire, 1 South East, 2 South West

3 in Dudley and 2 each in Barking and Barnsley the only places with more than 1.

Only 1 of the 21 was older than a month.

And only 1 of the 21 was aged under 60.

Northern Ireland data:

0 deaths - was 0 last week

102 cases - was 95 last week

4.9% positivity - was 4% last week

626 rolling 7 day cases - was 624 yesterday & 625 last week - Think you might call that flat!

5 Care Home Outbreaks - was 6 yesterday - was 5 last week,

67 patients - down 5 on yesterday - was 61 last week

5 ventilated - same as yesterday - was 4 last week

The 626 cases by age testing positive:-

0 - 19 (225) 35.9%

20 - 39 (213) 34.1%

40 - 59 (138) 22.0%

60 - 79 (36) 5.8%

80 PLUS (14) 2.2%

As you can see 70% of those testing positive are under 40. And only 8% over 60.

These numbers have continued to spread out as the vaccination programme has progressed.

Not unconnected I would say fairly confidently.

Re Pfizer - Believe the IP is held with Biontech which is German so wouldn’t fall under the US ruling if they do administer it and suspect the EU would have reservations about following suit

All of this requires consensus at WTO - the Yanks can't do it independently. At least that's what I read - not something I know about.

So total deaths with out of hospital England only to add:- 22

Wk to wk: 87 v 53 v 43 v 33 v 29 v 20 v 22 TODAY

And total cases for the three nations with England to add:- 419

wk to wk: 1111 v 695 v 544 v 501 v 414 v 342 v 419 TODAY

(But that is deceptive today as it includes possibly as many as 100 cases held over from yesterday by the data issue in Scotland)
