Sadly much the same in England - first doses are fewer and fewer - though in a sense inevitable they would be, Though it also means the ones in here opposed to vaccines are a large enough number to create the plans to find another route because they do not look like changing their minds.

At Tameside Hospital with the old fella, think he's broken a wrist bone when he fell on Sunday. In the A&E and it quite clearly shows how to wear a mask. There's 22 people in here, a bloke with his daughter (assuming) not wearing a mask and about 9 or 10 wearing them incorrectly, does my head in.

So four nation deaths today total 87 -with out of England hospital to come. We might be near three figures today as likely the biggest this week.

Last week there were 42 - so it has more than doubled in 7 days.

That 42 became 50 when all settings England were later added.

As I said earlier the result of a week or two back when cases suddenly doubled in a week or so.

This is the new normal from then sadly.

People wearing them on their chin is the worst for me. Not covering mouth or nose. I'd rather they didn't bother. They've gone to the effort of getting a mask, taking the mask out with them, putting it on, yet just covering their chin!

Shit - wasn't expecting deaths to get that high so soon. Usual caveats with it being a catch up day but even so. Case numbers up a fair bit on yesterday too but still lower than Saturday and Sunday.
