It's not as big a rise as I feared. 5k below last week's peak on what is often the worst day. Of course it might catch up tomorrow but here's hoping it's on the turn.96 all settings deaths

well that is not happening? Death rate is down hugely due to vaccination? Am I missing something? Few more weeks and naturally immunity and vaccines improve things still further?

Admissions 698 - up from 622 day before - was 502 a week ago. (these lag 2 days remember)
NW 110 of the 698 - was 100 of the 622 - and was 104 of the 502 last week
That looks like an improving track
NE & Yorkshire again the main driver - 164 of those 698 - v 141 of the 622 and 127 of the 502 last week
Midlands also well over NW - 142 of those 698 v 116 of the 622 and 97 of the 502 last week
London still behind NW but also up: - 101 of the 698 v 100 of the 622 and 66 of the 502 last week
AS WE SAW IN RECENT DAYS NW DEFINITELY LOOKS TO BE AT LEAST FLATTENING OFF AS OTHER REGIONS GO UP.
