Not that I WANT to get into this part of the debate, but there is very good evidence to suggest natural immunity is better than a created vaccination. Between 7 and 9 times more effective

As I've read it, the evidence is mixed, and the number you quote is very unlikely to be definitive.

I think it's true that infection acquired immunity is more variable than vaccinating acquired too.

So, with a fair few players not wanting a vaccine, it looks like they'd rather get Covid and let their body fight it off, over chemicals in their bodies. But, this are athletes.

So, with a fair few players not wanting a vaccine, it looks like they'd rather get Covid and let their body fight it off, over chemicals in their bodies. But, this are athletes.

You would have to ask if Southgate has demanded a 'jab or don't play' policy (I don't know as I haven't followed national football in years) with an eye on that scuppering progress under his tenure.

from a personal point of view they should be more worried about Long covid, that could easily take them out of action for months as is far more common than any vaccine side effects.

Id suggest clubs shouldn't pay sick pay ( or just offer staturoy that lots of people would be getting ) if this happened either seeing as they made a choice not to be protected.

THE DAY TO DAY DEATH NUMBERS THIS PAST WEEK ARE SLIGHTLY UP BUT AS YET NOTHING OF CONCERN

The latest 5 day total (7 Oct) is another 55 - 4 of the last six days have been 55 and the last eight 5 day totals are ALL between 50 and 57.

The first 5 days of the new week of 5 day data is currently 20 down on the total last week, which at this stage last week was 92 down on the week previous,

So the numbers ARE flattening off for sure.

They think they are invincible because of their high fitness levels, so don't entertain other people and the wider threat to society.

Sadly, we have a couple in our own team at present, people who should know better. One who has a missus who is always spouting anti-vax shit on the web.

There's no greater hypocrisy than football. Football fans soon needing to show they are double jabbed for entry into stadia, to watch people who aren't jabbed!

I think us and Norwich have had the highest number of players who have been known to have caught Covid. Wonder how many players and backroom staff have been jabbed.
