East Midlands down 551 to 2848

West Midlands down 152 to 4724

North East UP 532 to 1629

Yorkshire UP 399 to 2635


So as you can see the North is trending up and even Yorkshire is rising but they are at much lower levels than the North West whose recent scores since Christmas Eve are:-

2812 - (2218 - 1618 Christmas Day/Boxing Day) - 2199 - 2551 - 4194 - 3420 - 4746 - 5164 - 4040 - 6178 - 6337 - 5274 - 5793 - 7161 - 7671 - 7156 - 7565.....

The big increase came a few days after the Merry Little Christmas we were awarded by Boris.

Cause and effect looks obvious.

Just a hint of a possible plateau coming there over the past few days.

Let us hope so.

When Boris next comes on TV he should be highlighting this and explaining to us why the police are doing fuck all and also why the BBC are not criticising it

I think your one post unintentionally highlights why we are where we are.

The BBC highlight situations like this as some sort of 'great scenes' 'lovely to see' 'romance of the cup' which feeds into popular public opinion. It leaves the police utterly powerless to control the numbers in any reasonable way without then being criticised themselves for being heavy handed or over reacting to 'families, women and kids' etc.

There are situations where the police could do more, but one's such as this they are merely lambs to the slaughter in a situation which is unwinnable for them. I'll maybe post who I think is responsible for that on a separate thread...

Can't agree with that. Irrespective of how the media report, people are responsible for their own actions. Everyone in this country knows what they need to do.

But we have more than our share of dickheads who cannot do anything responsible. After nearly 10 months they still don't get it
